Day Stay Patients are admitted for a procedure in the Day Stay Unit and are discharged on the same day following their surgery or medical procedure. Patients are usually admitted just before surgery, resulting in minimal waiting times. Your doctor will inform you of the date of your admission, so please telephone the Mater on (02) 9900 7546 between 1.00pm and 5.00pm the business day before your surgery, to confirm your admission time.
