Depending on your medical or surgical procedure you will be admitted to the Mater as an overnight patient or maternity patient for one or more nights, a day stay or an endoscopy patient for a same-day procedure.

In all cases your own doctor is responsible for your medical treatment while you are at the Mater and it is with your doctor that you should discuss your medical care.
