Security
A security officer is on duty from 6pm to 6am every day and is available to escort staff on and off the premises if required.

For Overseas Nurses
For nurses visiting from other countries who have registered with the New South Wales Nurses Registration Board, the Mater has many opportunities available. Three and twelve month contract positions are available in all clinical areas and staff at the Mater can assist you in easily securing your position through the support of our overseas business sponsorship team.

Applicants must be registered nurses and be immediately eligible for NSW Nursing registration. Three years full time experience in relevant speciality areas and the ability to work on a rotating roster. You also need to have worked in an acute setting in the last 12 months and be able to provide two clinical referees.

Positions Available
The Mater currently has full-time, part-time and casual positions available in Orthopaedics, General Medical & Surgical, Cancer Care, Heart Lung & Vascular, Maternity, Angiography and Theatres. NON-NURSING PERSONNEL
Non nursing personnel are employed in a wide variety of positions including administration, hospitality, ward clerks, wardspersons, orderlies and other hospital functions.
